Between Layers of Dust
These works explore what settles, what hides, what lingers. They emerge from a fascination with traces—both physical and emotional—that time leaves behind. The surfaces hold something neo-archaeological and intimate at once: a sense of discovering artifacts from a future that has already remembered us...forgotten rooms, quiet stories, small sediments of life.At times, shapes rise that feel almost creature-like—forms that seem to breathe or grow of their own accord, without ever declaring what they are.The pieces feel unearthed rather than made, as though they’ve waited patiently under a thin veil of dust until the moment they were ready to surface. There where death settles, new life whispers. This collection grew from that quiet question. What are we made of and what begins to form from the matter we leave behind?
